defying gravity

So I've been at Nat and Mark's house for about a month now, enjoying the beach and the freedom of having no responsibilities, but now the reality of the next step i am taking is smacking me in the face...

I GO TO MEXICO IN SIX DAYS!!!

so i'll be working on packing and trying to enjoy my last few days with my family and my kitty and trying to get some sleep before i go. thankfully it will be rainy until i leave so i won't be too tempted by the wonderful beach. plus it's about a zillion degrees when it's not raining.

i went to the zoo yesterday and have been enjoying spending time with people before i leave. i'll really be feeling a little incomplete without them i think, but this move is something i have to do for myself.

i don't have any obligations here or responsibilities, no job, no house, no kids, (hopefully by the end of the week) no car. i'm free. and i really feel like in order to be able to be comfortable telling people that i'm bilingual, i have to get a little more bilingual. i mean, i get along fine, but i circumlocute like it's going out of style.

so who knows what i'll be doing when i get to mexico. teaching english undoubtedly. i'm curious to teach different age groups... high school was kinda strange being so close to their age.

i'll try to be diligent about posting on my adventure/life... it's strange to think that this is my next step in life, it being such a huge step, but here we are. huzzah!
